SB 1012
Senate Bill 1012 establishes meaningful guardrails on the development and deployment of Artificial Intelligence in Missouri. It's a common-sense framework designed to:
  • ✓ Prohibit Ai from gaining legal personhood in Missouri
  • ✓ Protect licensed professionals from being replaced by Ai
  • ✓ Protect consumers by requiring human oversight
  • ✓ Protect Missourians, especially children, from the harm of chatbots
  • ✓ Protect elections and voters by requiring disclosure when Ai is used for political ads
